Around spring 2020 I suddenly saw a lot of magically in the air standing objects. After a closer look one could always see the ropes, however they all looked fascinating. In this project, I designed a 3d printed stand that was held by several nylon strings.
The project itself did not take much time. The most time consuming was to figure out how to fix the very slippery nylon string. If there were only one string the issue would not be noticeable. I, on the contrary, had five strings to keep the balance.
After two iterations I decided to use screws to fix the strings. The resulting stand looks very good and I am happy with the outcome.
